How to Select All of the Same Words in Google Docs
To select all of the same words on Google Docs, we will work with an example document titled “The Importance of Healthy Eating.” Follow the steps below.
1. Activate the Search Box Using Shortcut Keys
To quickly find specific words in any document, use the shortcut `Ctrl + F` on Windows or `Cmd + F` on Mac. This will bring up a search box.
2. Enter the Specific Word You Wish to Find in the Document
Enter the word you are searching for in the search box that appears after the shortcut. In our example, we will type “vegetables.” Google Docs will highlight all occurrences of “vegetables” throughout the document, making them easy to identify.
3. Manually Copy Each Instance of the Word
Manually select the text with your mouse. To select multiple instances at once, hold down the Ctrl key (or Cmd on a Mac) while you click on each highlighted word in your document.
