With the text still selected, click on Format in the top menu. Hover over Paragraph styles, then hover over Normal text, and click on Update ‘Normal text’ to match. This action will set the current formatting as the default for normal text in the document.

4. Save as Default for All Documents

To make this the default style for all future documents, click on Format and hover over Paragraph styles. Then, select Options and click Save as my default styles. This saves your current font, size, and style settings as the default for all new documents.
