To mirror an image in Google Docs, follow the process below.
1. Insert the Image
Start by inserting the image into your document. Go to Insert > Image and choose the image source (upload from your computer, the web, or Google Drive).
2. Open the Drawing Tool
To mirror the image, open the Drawing tool. Click Insert > Drawing > + New to open a new drawing window.
3. Insert the Image into the Drawing Tool
In the Drawing window, click the Image icon to upload the image you want to mirror. Once selected, the image will be placed in the drawing area.
4. Flip the Image
After inserting the image in the Drawing tool click on the image to select it. In the toolbar, click Actions > Rotate. To mirror the image, select Flip horizontally.
5. Save and Insert the Mirrored Image
Once the image is flipped, click Save and Close to insert the mirrored image back into your Google Docs document.
