Left and Right Align on the Same Line in Google Docs (2025)
In this tutorial, we will show you exactly how Google Docs can be left and right aligned on the same line. Simply follow the steps below.

Left and Right Align on Same Line in Google Docs
Follow the steps below to justify left and right on the same line in Google Docs.
1. Insert a ‘2×1’ Table
Click the “Insert” menu in the Toolbar then select “Table”. Choose a “2×1 table” to create a single row with two columns.

2. Enter Text to Each Cell Then Justify
Type your left-aligned text in the left cell and your right-aligned text in the right cell. Adding text to these cells divides your content neatly.

Select the text in the left cell and click “Left-align”. This will align the text to the far-left side of the column.

Highlight the text in the right cell and click “Right-align”. This will shift the text to the far-right side of the column.

3. Customize Table Borders
Right-click on the table and select “Table properties”. Under Table border settings, choose white or match the document color to hide the table borders.
